The project located at 13 Franklin St, Urraween, QLD 4655 is a purpose built 6 apartment building designed specifically to meet the exacting demands of the National Disability Scheme (NDIS) Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) requirements for approved dwellings. The development will meet these standards at the High Physical Support level of categorisation.
PLANNING
A pre-application meeting was held with Town Planner during November and December 2021 with positive review / feedback to the development. This feedback has been captured from the development team and the architectural schematics amended to suit.
CONSTRUCTION
The team have encountered some minor delays in progress due to constant rain and the site being inaccessible for demolition. Construction is estimated to begin late this month.
MARKETING & SALES
The team intend to sell the project “off-the-plan” and as such drastically reduce the risk involved. This type of product has a strong appeal to many larger superannuation fund managers as well as investment managers of property funds and as such the team are confident that securing a quality buyer will be achievable prior to finalisation of the construction phase of the project.
