The project has an approved Planning Permit for a six-storey apartment building compromising of 9 residential dwellings and 2 retail premises above basement parking.
PLANNING
Cobild has requested assistance with partial demolition of the heritage façade as it will require an amended permit. Cobild has been reluctant to progress building methodology and design prior to resolution of site access and contract discussions. The team have presented the proposal to heritage consultants and will receive fee proposals shortly.
CONSTRUCTION
Construction is forecasted to commence August 2022.
MARKETING & SALES
To date, six apartments have been executed, subject to sign-off on final variations prior to construction commencement. The team have conducted meetings with all purchasers and received pricing from the builder.
The selling agent has indicated that construction commencement should generate new interest in the project and that re-launch may be a beneficial strategy. The project team will now look to build momentum within the campaign by promoting 50% sold stickers throughout all advertising, for then once a builder has been appointed require further amended advertising to signify this significant milestone in the project as well.
